What we'll learn in the Rhythms of Attachment workshop:

  • Review attachment rhythms and styles and how each one impacts relationships.

  • Identify five requirements for a healthy attachment figure.

  • Explore three types of relationships as possible pathways for hope and healing.

  • Discuss the ethics of employing therapeutic God language.

In this workshop, we'll examine attachment through the lens of a rhythm or a moving pattern rather than a static occurrence. We'll evaluate the five requirements of a healthy attachment figure and determine the three types of relationships - including a relationship with God - as possible pathways for client resiliency.

With growing empirical evidence supporting the use of 'God language' as a therapeutic tool, we'll take a closer look at the ethical concerns and benefits of referencing God within a therapeutic setting. By studying ethical codes on respectfully employing spirituality as a tool, we can ultimately empower our clients to have healthier attachments in their relationships.
